Signers of the Declaration of Independence:
These biographies come from the Fourth Edition of the book "Lives of The Signers to the
Declaration of Independence." It was written by Rev. Charles A. Goodrich and published in
1834. In fact, at the time (1829) the first edition of this book was published, one signer,
Charles Carroll of Carrollton, was still alive.
